Let's Go Shoppin'!
What's so wonderful about the internet is that you can start off looking for a recipe for home made shoe polish or directions to the Federal Prison and end up spending hours on YouTube forgetting what you started out looking for in the first place. Case in point, this video of Barbara Streisand from the 60's. It's called the Poverty Medley and features a young Barbara warbling about her lack of funds as she cavorts through the vacant first floor of the tragically elegant Bergdorf Goodman (So French!) dressed in jewels and furs. So, really, it's just like one of my days off, but with less 'jewels and furs' and more 'Endust and sweatpants'.
That being said, it'a an amusing departure, and I hope you'll love it as much as I did. (Note to self - Buy Catherine white fur Knickerbockers and matching cap. Tres jolie.)
